Well, it's been about a year since my last journal entry, so I thought it'd be a good time to update again. Sorry for the delay.
My website, dlpArt.com, is finally online. It was kind of strange for a person who does web design not to have their own website, but now I've got one. Yay!
There's a fair amount of new Processing Experiments up over there, so you should take a look. I'll probably be updating the website more than my dA page in the future, in no small part because there's no way to post Java applets here.
Any new traditional (i.e. just an image) art pieces that I post will go up both here and there at the same time, because prints remain awesome.
There's two reasons for my drastically reduced presence here. The first is that I'm super busy with school (college is lots of work!). The second is that I'm mainly doing interactive java stuff these days. I just don't have ideas for my traditional stuff very often anymore - once every two or so months is good at the moment. I don't know how I feel about that. On one hand, it's nice to be past the stage in my life that lead to a lot of that art, but on the other hand, I kind of miss being able to produce them. I don't really feel like my creativity has gone away, per se, just that it's focus has shifted, which I'm largely okay with. I'd just like to get the old type of ideas a little more often maybe.
Please check out my website! Thanks for reading.
